Customer consent now required for large overdraft fees on ATM, debit cards

"Under the Fed's new rule, which will take effect July 1, banks will be required to notify new and existing customers of their overdraft services and give customers the option of being covered. If customers don't "opt in," any debit or ATM transactions that overdraw their accounts will be denied, Fed officials said."

"Banks earn as much as $25 billion to $38 billion annually from overdraft fees, Fed officials said, but that total includes check overdrafts"

Damn you banks, damn you!

This is seriously getting out of hand. I don't see why we don't just reform our healthcare system! I have NOT been given one good reason why we shouldn't, scratch that one reason at ALL! I only hear and see multiple reason why we should support healthcare reform.

Movie Review: Out of *****

Where the Wild Things Are (****): Spike Jonze's third major film after his two Charlie Kaufman written films, Being John Malkovich and Adaptation is in, my opinion (maybe I should stop saying "in my opinion" because it's obviously in my opinion, haha), very good.
The story is very well executed and I have no complaints in regards to the graphics. Although I do feel the film has difficulty trying to identify itself. At times it seems to appeal to an older crowd and at other times to a younger crowd. I found myself slightly bored at times and I'm sure many children might find parts of it boring as well. But in the end I do recommend this visually pleasing film and find it's worth spending the cash to see it in the theatre.

The soundtrack is also very impressive and I'm enjoying it quite a bit right now. "Spike Jonze's ex-girlfriend Karen O, the vocalist of the New York art rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs, wrote the film's soundtrack. Karen O's bandmates Brian Chase and Nick Zinner and former touring guitarist Imaad Wasif, Deerhunter's Bradford Cox, Liars' Aaron Hemphill, The Dead Weather's Dean Fertita, and Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs all also contributed (taken from Wikipedia)." I highly recommend the soundtrack although I get this weird feeling as if I'm suppose to like it, ya know? Like it's this indie cool . . . oh well . . .

In case you didn't get the impression, I truly adore both Being John Malkovich and Adaptation and give both films (*****). If you haven't seen either of these films go see them as soon as possible.
